This was a school assignment for which we were given about two days to create a poster for the swedish museum “Historiska Museet”. Historiska museet is one of the most famous museums in Sweden and is located in Stockholm. Our task was to create a poster for the date the 11th of September. It’s a date on which many famous historic events have taken place and we should try to illustrate that.

My idea was to instead of craming a lot of the famous events on the poster switch the focus. Instead I wanted to focus on all the stories we haven’t heard and the ones that don’t really get talked about. By doing this I think that the spotlight falls on the date itself. The caption in swedish reads “One date, a thousand faces, millions of stories”.
